to visit, it's easy to see why Overlook enjoys a special distinction
as one of Connecticut's most interesting and attractive urban
neighborhoods.
The Historic Overlook Community Club is a volunteer
organization whose mission is to preserve and enhance the
unique beauty and residential character of the neighborhood.
Founded in 1960, our membership consists of about 500 neighbors
who count on HOCC for information, for advocacy and for ways
to socialize with other neighbors.
Our website is designed to give you a feel for
the history, character and flavor of our special neighborhood;
to link you to other important resources in the City and the
State; to keep you informed about HOCC's work on behalf of
the neighborhood; and to assist you in taking part in our
activities.
